Local and international events

The Riffa Charity Association within the celebration about Bahraini Women’s Day on 1st December, invited Tafawuq Center Head Mrs. Mariam Al Rowaiei to present the most important results of the study about “The reality of domestic violence against  women” in Bahrain.  

Both, Mrs Mariam Al Rowaeei and Mrs Zainab Al Najim attended the event  ”Women in first Lines” in Tunisia in mid-November 2016, representing  Tafawuq Centre for Women & Gender.

Mrs. Mariam Al Rowaiei, The Centre Director participated with a paper entitled  “Trafficking & House Workers” within the workshop of “The Suitable Work for The House Workers”, organized by the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Union, during the period of 5th– 6th  October 2016.  

Tafawuq Centre for Women & Gender attended the Discussion loop  “Migrant House Workers in the Gulf Region”, which organized by the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Union on 1st -2nd  October 2016.
